Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. He is Bridegroom, King and Judge. He is the seeking, inviting, rescuing and servant King. He is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent (all knowing, all-powerful and everywhere). He is gracious, compassionate, generous, extravagant and the kindness person you’ll every meet. He is a consuming fire. A jealous God whose eyes are aflame with burning love. He is Spirit. He is the One who baptizes in His Spirit and with fire. He is love. His very essence and substance is love. He is good. Every good a perfect gift comes down from Him in who is no shadow or turning.

 

Who is this King of Glory? He is the word of God, in the beginning with God and through whom all things were made. He is light. He is the Light of the World, the light that shines in the darkness and gives light to all. He is the great physician, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Apostle and High Priest of our confession. He is messiah, the Christ, the anointed one, and the Prophet like unto Moses. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

 

Who is this King of Glory? He is Abraham’s provision, the I AM of Moses’ burning bush, Joshua’s Commander of the LORD's army.  Jacob’s wrestling opponent, Gideon’s encourager, David’s shepherd, and Elijah’s still small Voice. He is Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego’s fourth Man in the fire.  He is Daniel’s burning Man, girded with gold, whose voice is the Voice of Many Waters. He’s Lazarus friend, Mary’s devotion, Peter’s Christ, Son of the Living God & John’s light, life and love.

 

Who is this King of Glory? He was begotten not made, born of a virgin, the word made flesh and lived among us- a pure sinless life. He’s the perfect lamb without blemish; the Savoir of the world, and the one who saves us from our sins. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, buried and He rose again. He is the resurrection and the life. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is the door, the gate for the sheep, the narrow way, the entrance into the heart of the Father. He is the way, the truth and the life. No one come to the Father, except through Him.

 

Who is this King of Glory? He is the great I Am, the Bread of Life, the True Vine, and the Good Shepherd. He is beginning and end. He is the Author of eternal salvation and the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is Son of Man, Son of God, one with the Father. He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. He is the express image of the Father. If you’ve seen Jesus, you’ve seen the Father. He is holy, wonderful, counselor, Mighty God and He ever lives to make intercession for the saints.

 

Who is this King of Glory? He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
