Heather Robinson

Heather embarked on one of her greatest adventures when she joined the church-planting team to Walla Walla in 2004, having now been a senior leader since 2010. She is thrilled at the possibilities found in knowing God through a deeply-formed spirituality and is honored to curate formational practices at Crazy Love that lead to a rich life in him. This includes such wonders as the leadership of Jesus, interpretative practices of Scripture, friendship with the Holy Spirit, and engaging a Rule of Life. Filled with a contagious hope, she preaches, teaches, and journeys alongside the people and leaders of Crazy Love. Heather graduated from Fuller Seminary with a Master of Arts in global leadership in pursuit of making space for celebration and empowerment of all ethnic groups at Crazy Love. She is ecstatic over Crazy Love’s discipleship program for emerging leaders, which she developed and oversees, that teaches biblical and healthy leadership practices while focusing on leading in a diverse context. This pursuit has also taken her to countries around the globe working with local believers and pastors to share about the beautiful Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is married to Andrew, and they have a teenage daughter, grade school son, and two spoiled dogs. She loves to tease her children, read, sing, play with the dogs, and spend time camping in their 2006 Palomino Tent Trailer affectionately known as, “Pal”.

Zoey Smith

If you’ve ever gotten an email from Crazy Love, chances are, it was signed, “Love, Zoey.” As church administrator, Zoey handles the bulk of church-wide communication. She also helps us get where we’re going, supporting Crazy Love’s vision and mission through various behind-the-scenes admin projects. Zoey’s been part of our church community since 2005 when she was a student at Whitman College. Today, her hope is that everyone who comes to Crazy Love would know (and feel) they are part of the family: included, celebrated, and supported! In addition to her administrator responsibilities, Zoey and her husband Josh enjoy dinners and deep conversations with their LifeGroup and having fun with Crazy Love’s Kingdom Kids students. Zoey values being teachable and believes everyone is growing, no matter their age. When she’s not at work summarizing sermons, making lists, or fixing printers, she can be found playing with toddlers at our local community college, reading with her own “big kids,” or at home, plunking around on the piano.

Yaritza Garcia

Yaritza, also known as Yari, first attended Crazy Love Church in February of 2024 with a hunger to rebuild her relationship with God. By the end of the church service, she found a home where the heart of the Lord exists. Now, Yari works as ministry support for the senior leaders, Heather and Andrew. Her love for art and degree in early childhood education has contributed to creating an atmosphere in children’s ministry – known as Kingdom Kids – to expand the learning of knowing Jesus. She decorates the classrooms and creates a visual for each month’s lessons and puzzles together schedules for the class leaders and youth assistants every week. Apart from this, her creativity and planning shine by enhancing special events like, Mother’s Day, Father’s day, and our first-ever marriage retreat. Fascinated by ideas, Yari lays a foundation of meaningful projects that help people feel valued and connected. Encouraged by her experiences and what could be, she developed a follow-up process for new visitors at Crazy Love Church with an inspiration to help them find their home, too. Her joy comes from adventures with her son, eating good food (or just eating in general), reading as often as she can, drawing, and chasing sunsets.
