MENTAL HEALTH AND THE WINTER MONTHS

PRACTICAL AND SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE FOR SOUL-CARE

JANUARY 9, 2021 FROM 9-11 AM VIA ZOOM

The conference is free of charge but please register below so we can send you the Zoom link.

As a nation in 2020, we have faced a pandemic, racial injustice, political strife, floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes. Some have lost loved ones because of Covid19, others have lost jobs and stability, and many are supervising at-home learning with their children while also working. In the midst of these difficulties, winter season is upon us where many struggle because of the cold and fog. Dare we hope for the light of life and peace to return to our hearts and communities? “Mental Health and the Winter Months” is a gathering to discover how we can care for our selves and others through this season. Our speakers are two licensed mental health counselors—Kristi Canning-Lee from Vancouver and Daniel Schroeder from Walla Walla—and minister Jennifer Seo Ney, a Korean-Canadian missionary and busy mom of two. Join us as we explore the possibilities of hope through the lens of soul-care and community-care.
