Father, we ask that you strengthen our inner beings with might by your Spirit and that Christ inhabits ours hearts as we trust in you. We open wide the door of our hearts and invite you to come and feast with us.

 

Let us be like trees planted by the eternal river of your affection and delight. Let our roots spread out and grow down deep into your love and mercy. Let our lives be founded on your love and help us to continually abide in your love. Let our leaves flourish and not wither through times of trial and distress. Let us not cease from bearing fruit.

 

We ask that you give us understanding that we might grasp with all God’s people, what is the width and length and depth and height of the love of Christ. We ask that we encounter, experience, and know this love that goes beyond what we are able to comprehend, so that we might be filled with all the fullness of God.
